Detailed description of project:

The project provides expert support to the operation of the overall INOGATE Programme on technical, financial, institutional and promotional issues as well as provision of regional networks of qualified local experts to assist in the identification and establishment of energy transport projects and the attraction of investments by international financial institutions and private investors. The attraction of foreign investments in the beneficiary states is sought through a combination of identification of attractive projects, correct project structuring and presentation according to international standards, evaluation of technical, financial and institutional parameters and promotion through several means and media. A network of INOGATE officers in all the beneficiary states was established and trained in a special workshop.
